SineCore Warranty

We stand behind our machines. This policy explains what’s covered, what’s not, and how we handle warranty claims.

SC-512L – 1-Year Limited Warranty Parts-focused coverage

1) Warranty Term

SineCore CNC LLC (“SineCore”) warrants to the original purchaser that the SC-512L CNC Lathe (the “Machine”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under Normal Use for one (1) year from the date of delivery (the “Warranty Period”). This warranty is non-transferable.

2) Normal Use (Hobby / Light-Duty)

“Normal Use” means single-operator, non-production hobby, prototype, or light-duty use within published specifications, proper electrical supply requirements, and recommended maintenance procedures. Continuous industrial production, unattended operation, or operation outside published specifications is not considered Normal Use.

3) What This Warranty Covers

This Limited Warranty covers electrical and mechanical components that fail solely due to a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship during the Warranty Period.

Examples of covered components may include:

  • Control boards
  • Relays and contactors
  • Power supplies
  • Internal electrical components and wiring defects
  • Motors and drives (when failure is not caused by crash, misuse, or improper wiring)
  • Mechanical assemblies determined defective by SineCore

4) What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by crashes, collisions, overtravel events, improper setups, or operator error
  • Improper installation, wiring, grounding, input power, or external electrical faults/surges
  • Unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repairs
  • Bypassing or disabling safety systems
  • Normal wear, consumables, and cosmetic wear
  • Damage caused by lack of maintenance, contamination, moisture, corrosion, or improper storage
  • Issues arising from third-party software, operating system updates, user configuration, or computer hardware not supplied by SineCore CNC.

Accessories: Accessories and consumables intended to be modified or consumed during use are not covered. This includes items such as soft jaws (designed to be cut/modified), tooling, inserts, and similar consumables.

5) Claim Review & Determination

Each warranty claim is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. SineCore reserves the right to determine whether a failure is due to a covered defect in materials or workmanship. We may request troubleshooting steps, photos/video, logs, and/or return of the allegedly defective component before approving a claim.

6) Exclusive Remedy

If a covered defect is confirmed, SineCore will, at its sole discretion, repair the defective component or replace it with a new or refurbished equivalent. This repair-or-replacement remedy is the exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty.

7) Shipping Costs

Shipping costs associated with warranty claims may be charged to the customer or covered by SineCore at SineCore’s discretion, depending on the circumstances, location, and nature of the claim. Expedited shipping, international freight, customs duties, and special handling are not covered unless agreed to in writing.

8) No Returns Created by This Warranty

This Limited Warranty does not create a right to return the Machine. Returns and cancellations are governed separately by SineCore’s Refund Policy.

9) Limitations & Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SINECORE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF USE, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR DAMAGE TO WORKPIECES, TOOLING, OR OTHER EQUIPMENT.

SINECORE’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE MACHINE OR THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE MACHINE.

10) Implied Warranties

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE ONE (1) YEAR WARRANTY PERIOD.

11) Governing Law

This Limited Warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

12) Severability

If any provision of this Limited Warranty is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
